Fishing

Fishing is one of the activities that can be done in-game. Fishing allows a player to obtain fish and items - ranging from trash to Rare equips depending on fishing mastery level.

Fishing Mastery

Fishing Mastery determines what kind of fish and items a player can obtain as well as which fish a player can gain mastery from. The Fishing Mastery levels are as follows:

In order to get from Beginner I to Master, players will need to accumulate 1,000 Mastery Points.

Gaining Mastery Points

Mastery Points can be gained by either:

• Catching a new fish not yet caught before. The number of mastery points varies depending on the Rank of the fish.
  • Normal: 2 Points
  • Rare: 4 Points
  • Exceptional: 6 Points
  • Epic: 8 Points
• Fishing in areas that are the same mastery level as your character's mastery level.
  • Each mastery level, the amount of fish required to get points goes up by 2, starting at 1 fish at Beginner 1, and going to 3 fish at Beginner 2, 5 at Beginner 3, and so on. There is a seperate tally for each rank of fish, and after catching the proper amount you will receive half the points you would for a first time catch.
• Catching a prize fish will reward the same amount of mastery as you would get for a first time catch.
• You may increase your chances from 1-5% of catching a prize fish by fishing in a party of the same channel in the same map.

Fisherman's Shop

You can purchase items such as Fishing Poles, outfit items, and baits from this shop. The shop can be accessed through Pesca, the fishing NPC in Evansville, or by pressing the Fisherman's Shop button that appears when you go into fishing mode. Pesca can also be found at Harang Island, Star Sands Fishing Hole, and Rainbow Fishing Hole.
