Dungeons are instanced battles that players can participate in in MapleStory 2. These dungeons can be soloed or done with others in a party and reward gear and/or other items upon successful completion.

Daily/Weekly Clear Counts and Limits

Clear count is the number of times a player has received rewards from clearing any dungeon. There is a daily limit of 15, and a weekly limit of 30. Players can continue to run dungeons after reaching either of these limits, but they will not receive rewards from clearing them. These limits are per character, which means other characters on the same account keep track of clear counts separately.

Players can choose to reset their clear count once per week on one character per account, only if that character has reached the weekly limit. This resets both the daily and weekly limits. After using it once during a week, the feature will become usable again after the weekly reset (Friday at midnight UTC).

Clear count also resets when a player hits level 50.

Lists of Dungeons by Type

There are 7 types of dungeons:

• Normal Adventure
• Hard Adventure
• Chaos Raid
• Eye of Lapenta
• Guild Raid
• Dark Descent
• Fortress Rumble
• Premium
• Special

Bonus Boxes

Each week, players can receive bonus boxes by reaching milestone clear counts. These are also reset when the reset-count-once-per-week feature is used, which means a player can receive these boxes again. The boxes contain various items in addition to mesos and experience, depending on whether the character is below level 50 or not.
